Since the inception of AIESEC, interns have made major impact in communities by fostering cultural understanding, providing education and teaching a second language. These opportunities are the most common internships in the AIESEC network and are necessary towards developing these countries’ potential. Students and recent graduates who take on teaching internships will develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, cross-cultural understanding, as well as a higher level of self-awareness.
